[There's a soft thud as Minato drops a sack of his clothes and what little belongings he has left down on a squeaky mattress. With little more than a heavy sigh, he gets right down to business. With everything being so eventful, He'd neglected his communicator no matter how much it shocked him...]

If anybody needs me from now on, I'll be at the police station. Since my apartment was destroyed during the earthquakes I guess I'll be staying here from now on.

[There's a grunt of pain and a long, muffled groan as a continued buzzing starts softly, and then picks up, making it a little harder for Minato to keep quiet. But he does, and inhales deeply as if he's taking in some sort of punishment that he deserved. And maybe he does. Boots scrape across wet gravel. After a moment of only the sound of rain... he speaks, composed. As little as he tends to talk, Minato will have a lot to say tonight... The gist of this will be repeated in text.]

[POLICE OFFICER ACTIVITY CHECK INSIDE!!]

[There's a lot of LOUD static for about a minute before a clatter as the communicator falls to the floor. The video is activated- someone's completely pink, scarred arm is dangling off the bed, fingers twitching every so often. A moment later there's a loud gasp and a boy darts up in bed, trembling.

Minato.

He must have been sleeping for hours. His clothes are ripped an bloody, his mop of blue hair is dark and clumpy with dried blood. Minato looks around the room, much slower than how he sat up in the first place. He looks down at the floor and spots the communicator, picks it up and looks down into the camera. His expression is eerily calm, but as usual the right side of his face is masked by his hair, and it seems to be hiding something. The end of a fresh scar peeks out from behind the dirty locks.]

... Officers. Report immediately. I want to know what's been going on.

Friends... Kadaj... I'll be-  ...I'm fine. How are you?

( Being lazy backstage )

Earthquake- Everyone please remain calm! If there is any stable place close to you where you can protect yourself, please take shelter! Anyone with small children with you, make sure they're with you, in sight, and safe! Nanako-chan... Do NOT run out in search of anyone right now- take care of yourselves and anyone immediate to you. Officers, seek shelter- do not risk your lives right now. Everyone, Be. SAFE!

[The sound of a window sliding open as Minato stumbles his way to the fire escape in his bedroom. Of course he wouldn't take his own advice- he had to get out there and make sure he could help anyone that needs it. One foot out the window and clink, onto the fire escape, and he hears quiet shouting through the rumbling sound. It must have been coming from the hallway. Of course there are people there, Minato, you aren't the only one who lives in Latimir. And you know you have to help them...]

...Shit.

[Minato pulls back into the window and starts to run, unsteadily as the whole world just shakes around him, out of his bedroom and towards the door that would take him out into the main hallway of the building. He's about to get back to the communicator to inform the residents of Latimir that he's in the building and there to help when the massive rumbling is heard. Things breaking, booming sounds, the clattering as the comm hits the floor and Minato gasps quietly, maybe just a little hurt. Until what sounds like rocks, or concrete- something heavy, start to fall all around the comm. The quiet gasping becomes more muffled, as if he's biting his lips to avoid making a sound. One more loud thud and it's useless. He bites through his lip and screams until it's nothing but a raspy breath that croaks it's way out to the last.

It's the loudest sound anyone will ever hear Minato make. And the last one. At least for a while.]

Anybody else here need a vacation?

I'm thinking a barbecue. Swimming... Music of course. Lots of it. Games? Uuuh... Maybe drinks if you're adventurous- I might have one myself. How about a day when the sky is actually blue? Or someplace where there aren't so many buildings touching the corners of your eyes when you look up... I'm kinda sick of the wrecks touching the sky, aren't you?

What would the rest of you do?

I want all officers and detectives to report in on this post right now. I also want to know which of you are still chipped and which of you aren't.

There's an obvious matter to be discussed, but first thing's first...

This is getting out of hand- something's up. I need the police force out there full swing, there are murders going on and I don't think we're dealing with something ordinary.

Kadaj, I'll be going on patrol soon. Coming?

Everyone else, try not to travel out alone and be sure to get back to where you're staying or someplace safe with groups of people before nightfall. Be advised that there is something or someone dangerous out there, and we don't know if the Scientists are involved with this or not. If we're not sure what we're looking for, it's best to be as cautious as you can and try not to wind up in challenges against anything or one you don't know anything about. I know it sounds like a silly request, since we don't all know each other, but please, avoid trouble.

Update:
Might I add that as usual, the officers are all available to escort anybody, especially people who may not have any friends or roommates yet that can be with them. I've heard in the past that there are also certain individuals in the city that offer the same. Those who are still available escorts, please be sure to inform everyone of your services.

(OOC: Sorry for my late response to these events, but I've been really busy with IRL stuff. Later on in the evening I'll be going out and throughout the weekend I'll be going to a con, so I'll be slow getting back to everyone.)

[Now that losing friends is on his mind, he finds himself thinking about a few others. There's the sound of a drawer opening, then the creaking of a mattress as he drops himself down onto it. Pages turn, gradually as he reads, then quicker as he starts to flips them all towards the front, just glancing. There's a quiet gasp as he reaches the back of it, silence, and a gentle hum. Funny, he didn't remember this being there...]

Prussia. Stan. If what I just heard isn't accurate, Sealand's location or the boy himself needs to be released to me immediately or suffer the consequences. No more games. If he has been released however, the both of you need to deal with me regardless.

After what I overheard, Prussia, in the past you claimed to be unaware of Sealand's location, meaning you lied to me, making you accomplice to kidnap. If you learned this information later, you should have come forward with it. Not only will the both of you be punished, but you can't have anything to do with this police force, so forget your plans for training recruits.
